Bernard, this is one of the most thoughtful evolutions of the STAR method I’ve seen. MHC PARR brings structure and emotional depth—especially the Mirror and Reflect steps, which build real connection and self-awareness.

Your emphasis on clarity, empathy, and learning from experience makes this a leadership lens. IThanks for sharing such a practical, well-grounded guide.

Bernard, I was not aware of the MHC PARR framework and your article was a great introduction. Your clear and easily digestible writing style and personal perspectives resonated with me. I will put the framework into practice in my next interviews, especially the hook at the beginning and the reflection part at the end.

By far the most comprehensive guide for behavioral interview prep that I know of. Would never think that paraphrasing the interviewer’s question sets you up for high quality answer delivery.
